Hawthorn Brewing have just released New World Lager, the latest in their Brewshed Collection of special beers. In keeping with the name all the malts, wheat and pilsner, are sourced from New Zealand. Australian brewery Coopers are about to make another step towards the craft beer direction as it announces (the badly kept secret of) an agreement with Brooklyn Brewery. The agreement will allow Coopers to brew the Brooklyn Lager in Adelaide, for draft beer distribution throughout Australia by Premium Beverages.
